Colonial Employees Attend NAHREP 2017

Colonial was thrilled to be in attendance at the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals' (NAHREP) annual National Convention and Latin Music Festival and Elevate Mortgage Summit in Dallas, Texas on September 9 – 12.

Each year, thousands of Real Estate and Mortgage professionals from around the country gather to learn the latest trends from some of the most respected leaders in the industry, share industry knowledge and insights, participate in business building workshops and more. NAHREP-group.jpg

"It's imperative to have an organization such as NAHREP to continue to improve homeownership in the Hispanic community," said Leticia Vu, Multicultural Market Manager. "One very important way they accomplish this is by educating and empowering the real estate professionals who serve the Hispanic home buyers and sellers. Their annual national convention is a perfect example and the highlight of the year!  We at Colonial value our relationship with NAHREP because we understand how important it is to partner with an organization that is such an advocate for Hispanic homebuyers."

This year's conference included talented speakers from not only all over the mortgage industry, but also included NBA head coach Earl Watson, the first head coach with a Hispanic background, Gabriela Natale, the first Hispanic woman to win three back- to-back daytime Emmys, and former President George W. Bush served as a keynote speaker.

Over the course of the four-day conference, Colonial and CU Members staff was on-hand to show their support of NAHREP and to network with other industry leaders.

Founded in 1999, NAHREP touts itself as "the voice for Hispanic Real Estate and proud champions of homeownership for the Hispanic community."
