Colonial is proud to announce that we will again be partnering with Junior Achievement (JA) this year. This year, Colonial employees will volunteer their time at two Fort Worth-area schools – Stripling Middle and Tremble Tech High School – to help encourage financial literacy.
"The Colonial Savings and Junior Achievement program volunteers are here to share their real-world experience helping students to broaden their minds and believe in their own capabilities," said Robert Turner, VP – CRA Officer/Fair Lending Manager. "The Junior Achievement Financial Literacy classes empower students to envision their own future economic success. We are in the classroom to ignite that spark to experience opportunities and prepare students to meet the realities of work in a 21st-century marketplace."
Colonial employees James McGee and Janet Walter will oversee volunteers at Stripling Middle and Tremble Tech High Schools, respectively. Thank you to all of our volunteers for your commitment to this program.
