Introducing: Colonial’s Spanish Language Home Loan Portal

Colonial is proud and excited to introduce our new, Spanish language home loan portal. The Spanish Language Home Loan Portal continues the theme that GoColonial.com set forth when it was launched in April 2016 – education and information. Current and potential customers alike can find information on all of Colonial’s home loan products and are encouraged to contact one of our knowledgeable Spanish-speaking Loan Officers that will assist them in all phases of the mortgage process – all in one place.

Colonial decided to launch a Spanish language portal in an effort to reach customers that may have previously been hesitant to inquire about purchasing a home due to language barriers. Introducing: Colonial’s Spanish Language Home Loan PortalAccording to the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals ® (NAHREP®), Hispanics will account for more than half of all new homeowners over the next several years.

“Colonial has been assisting individuals and families with their home loan financing needs for more than 67 years,” said David Motley, President. “Our new Spanish language home loan portal allows us the opportunity to better serve our community by providing information not only about Colonial as a whole, but our full suite of home loan products. We understand the importance for Spanish-speaking customers to be able to review various mortgage programs in the language that they are most comfortable with, and have the ability to call or email a Spanish-speaking loan officer who will be available to answer any questions they may have about moving forward.”

Now Spanish-speaking customers have the ability to browse Colonial’s full suite of home loan products and offerings including ConventionalFHAVAUSDAJumboCondoConstructionRefinance, and more – all in their native language.

It is important to note that while Spanish-speakers have the ability to browse home loan products and contact a Spanish-speaking loan officer, all transaction documents and disclosures will be provided in English. Translation and interpretation, if required, will be the responsibility of the applicant.

Stay tuned for more updates as Colonial continues to look for ways to better serve our customers and communities, alike.
