Colonial recently donated to the Junior Achievement (JA) of the Chisolm Trail – Fort Worth. Headquartered in Fort Worth, JA of the Chisolm Trail also has offices in Abilene, Amarillo and Midland/Odessa. Through innovative partnerships between businesses, educators and volunteers across the region, JA of the Chisholm Trail will reach more than 35,000 kindergarten through twelfth-grade students this year.
Founded in 1919, JA was originally a high school after-school program teaching students how to create and operate a business. Currently, JA has more than 120 offices in the U.S. and 123 countries around the world and reaches more than 9 million students annually.
JA offers activity-based interactive instruction that focuses on entrepreneurship, financial literacy and college readiness. Colonial is proud to a supporter to such a strong organization.
