Longhorn Council – Boy Scouts of America

Colonial is proud to support the youth of our community. Colonial Banking Center Manager Nancy Brannan recently attended a breakfast at the Sky Creek Ranch Golf Club in Keller, Texas to support Boy Scouts of America (BSA) and The Longhorn Council.

​​​The breakfast fundraiser was held to help provide much needed funds to many boy scouts who would not otherwise be financially able to attend summer camps, or the annual National Scout Jamboree.

The BSA is one of the nation's largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. The BSA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them i​n the responsibilities of participating citizenship and develop personal fitness.

The Longhorn Council of the BSA serves youth in nearly two dozen counties from San Antonio, Texas all the way north of the Red River. The Longhorn Council works with hundreds of volunteers to provide once-in-a-lifetime opportunities specifically to the youth in neighborhoods across the counties they support.
