Colonial Spreads Holidays Cheer to Three Active Military Members
he holidays are the season of giving. A season surrounded by wonder and whimsy where it’s okay to believe in a little magic and embrace your inner child. For those who are lucky to spend it with family, we exchange gifts, tell stories and watch our favorite holiday movies, all while we are warm and cozy surrounded by the ones we love.
For active military members and their families, the holidays are often bittersweet. While we enjoy the comforts of home, they are stationed on ships and military bases across the country and around the world as they help keep us safe. The holidays can sometimes magnify the distance between them and their families and serve as a reminder of who won’t be able to make it home this year.
